Workspace ONE Web for Android 23.11 (staged)

  • ABRW-175422: Custom icon for Bookmarks
    • Ability to customize personal bookmarks icon on device.

    • ABRW-175466: Bottom panel icon gets greyed out after changing theme from System Default(dark) to Light mode
    • ABRW-175648: JavaScript window.close() not getting called because of blocked screen

    • IBRW-175495: Updated experience of TOU dialog
    • IBRW-175397: Files not getting displayed in the Downloads screen with WKWebview
    • IBRW-175438: Downloaded file disappears from Downloads when renamed with special character ‘%’

Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for iOS 23.10

  • Lock Device Quick Action in the support tab is now available to lock devices on your account.
  • Accessibility Improvements
  • Support for custom messages for Workspace ONE Mobile Threat Defense: Administrators can now add content to the standard alerts sent to users for policy violations and when threats are detected. The additional content will be presented in Intelligent Hub in the threat details’ page. Content can include corporate or legal content additional steps or advice, URLs for Support sites, and other important information.

VMware Optimization Tool removes Windows UWP Apps from Windows (95556)

  • After running the VMware Optimization Tool, UWP Apps which are natively installed as part of the Windows operating system are missing for all users. These are Calculator, Calendar, Mail, Cortana, Maps, News, OneNote, Groove Music, Camera to name the most commonly known apps.

Horizon Cloud Service next-gen – Clearing up AAD domain join devices (95138)

  • When deleting VMs or desktop pools, following error code may be registered under Horizon Universal Console Notifications:
    AUTHORIZATION_REQUEST_DENIED or Authorization_RequestDenied
  • Microsoft Entra ID objects cannot be deleted from the service side using the currently configured Azure Service Principal because it does not have the required permissions ( For more details, please see Creating a Pool – Prerequisites ) . You will need to manually delete these Entra IDs from the Azure portal.

iOS users may see “Access Denied” after restoring their previously enrolled device in Intelligent Hub (95447)

  • Users who backup their managed iOS and iPadOS devices to iCloud/iTunes are seeing “Access Denied” when restoring to a new iOS/iPadOS devices in Intelligent Hub
    Apple will restore the MDM service if the backup and restore is performed on the same device.
