RESOLVED: ESC-28927: iOS 14.7.1 Devices May Incorrectly Display OS Version as Windows 10 (10.0.20348) (85816)
With the release of the 14.7 iOS seed script we have become aware of an issue where IOS 14.7.1 devices may in some circumstances have their OS version identified as Windows 10 (10.0.20348). Any compliance policy targeted for iOS 14.7.1 may not function correctly.
All SaaS and On-Premise environments will potentially be affected
To confirm if a compliance policy is affected, view the device assignment for that compliance policy. The platform for the device will correctly report as Apple, however the OS version will report as Windows 10.0.20348.

Scoped Storage on Android 11+ with WS1 UEM (85573)
Important Updates:
Administrators must push a custom settings profile to existing Android 11, fully-managed, non-Zebra devices after updating to Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub v21.09.
If Workspace ONE Launcher is used, Administrators must update to Launcher v21.09. It is recommended to update Launcher before updating Hub.
Beta testing for Hub v21.09 will be extended by 1 week to allow for additional testing of file management use cases.

Discovery.awmdm.com SSL certificate Renewal – 2021 (85798)
The current SSL certificate for https://discovery.awmdm.com expired on August 7, 2021. This affects all supported UEM versions.
Once the certificate expires, on-premises customers running UEM versions lower than v2105 that have ‘auto-discovery SSL pinning’ enabled will be unable to perform the following:
- Register new email domains for auto-discovery
- Sync SSL pinning certificates from Device Services to the Auto-discovery server
Workspace ONE UEM SaaS customers will not be impacted, as VMware’s SaaS operations team has updated the primary and backup certificates for all hosted environments. On-premises customers will have the option if auto-discovery SSL Pinning is enabled at the Global Organization group by navigating to Groups & Setting > All Settings > Admin > Cloud Services
1. If customers wish to keep auto-discovery SSL Pinning enabled then upload the new primary cert and new backup certificate by navigating to Groups & Settings > All Settings > Admin > Cloud Services at the Global Organization group.
2. Alternatively, customers can opt to Disable auto-discovery SSL pinning.

What is HKLM\SOFTWARE\AirWatchMDM\AppDeploymentAgent used for?
This registry folder hosts metadata for Workspace ONE UEM managed apps. VMware SFD agent also uses this registry info to track the deployment state of MDM managed apps.
- App Manifest – This node contains information about the app deployment options (installcommand, timeout, detection criterias, etc)
- Content Manifest – This node contains information about the download links. (CDN, DS, P2P)
- Queue – This node contains info regarding the apps that are undergoing deployment or waiting for deployment
- Common – This node stores targeted user SID info
- Policy – This node stores deployment window and other policy info
